Church Ministry

“Teaching the Truth that Sets Captives Free”

Since Pastor Victor Sande began God’s Care Church in 2007, it has continued to live out its mission of preaching and teaching the truth of the Gospel to a community that is divided between various false religions and occults.  Witchcraft and sorcery are still prevalent in this area, and many people are living in darkness.  They need to be enlightened by the word of God and receive revelation from the Holy Spirit.

God’s Care Church has about 350 people (150 children and 200 teens and adults) who attend regularly.  The church offers Sunday Services for adults and children, Sunday lunch for the children, Friday overnight prayer meetings, weekly Bible studies, counseling, prayer and fasting days, evangelistic outreaches, and other community outreaches such as prison and hospital ministry.

We rejoice greatly because we see a number of children and adults dedicating their lives to Christ, beginning to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord, and being challenged to live out their faith in “words and deeds.”  We deeply desire to see our community experience spiritual transformation.  We are keenly aware that Jesus is the only hope for Africa.

God’s Care Church is located in the town of Kyenjojo.  The main offices for the various projects are also located on the church premises.
