Children’s Dormitory

“Loving To Leave A Legacy”

Kyenjojo is plagued with malnourished children, vulnerable and abused orphans, and neglected sons and daughters.  We aim to rescue the perishing and love the despairing.  It is our ultimate goal that these children will experience lasting change in their behavior and lifestyle through the transforming love of Christ and will rise up to lead a legacy of compassion and Godliness in their nation and around the world.

The Palace of Treasures began as a single-story dormitory, but now includes a double story building for girls and a five bedroom house for boys.  It currently houses 74 children – 37 boys and 37 girls aged 5 to 18.  The children participate in a variety of activities including cooking, playing games, doing chores, leading praise and worship, preaching, morning and evening prayers, devotional times, fasting, and guidance and counseling.  Eight children have been rescued from death and many children have felt divine and human love for the first time.
