Parental Information:  His father died of AIDS, and his mother (Birungi Beatrice) is infected with AIDS.  His mother is very weak and is unable to work.  She tries to dig to grow food for her family.

Sibling Information:  He has three sisters (Nyakato Mary, Kiiza Mary, and Amanyire Elizabeth).

School Information:  Adolf attends Hakatoma Primary School.  He is in first grade.  He enjoys going to school. 

Church Information:  Adolf attends Hakatoma Church of Uganda.  He likes going to church.

Child’s Home Duties:  Fetching water, collecting firewood, and caring for younger sisters.

Child’s Favorite Activities:  Running

Child’s Favorite Games:  Soccer.

Child’s Favorite Food:  Matooke (plantains), posho (flour and water mixture), and ground-nuts (peanuts).

Child’s Career Goal:  Adolf wants to be a driver when he grows up.

Child’s Top Three Needs:  Balloons, candy, and a ball. 

Child is Happy When…  He plays with a ball.

Additional Information:  His mother is caring for four children in a small two-roomed grass thatched house.  She was diagnosed in May 2008 and began to receive treatment.  She takes ARV’s, but is unable to pay for Ceptrine so she does not take that medication.  The mother says Adolf’s greatest needs are schooling and a house.
